Artists interventions for new build metro stations, Vienna

Commissioned by Wiener Linien (Vienna Transport Authority)
and KÖR Kunst im öffentlichen Raum Wien (Public Art Vienna).
Curateld by Markus Richter

Curated competition/discursive procedure for artists interventions at two new build metro stations in Vienna. Out of my shortlist (Pedro Cabrita Reis, Lucas Lenglet, Kai Schiemenz, Beat Zoderer) the jury chose the project two drawings in the sky, two paintings underneath by Cabrita Reis. The sculptural intervention was inaugurated in December 2013 and is permanent.
